CCS sponsors Bakersfield Tennis Open

This weekend featured the start of the Bakersfield Tennis Open, the largest professional tennis event in Bakersfield since the 1965 Davis Cup.

And Chain | Cohn | Clark is a proud sponsor. See our “welcome” sign at the entrance of the Bakersfield Racquet Club, which is hosting the event.

The tournament is a Unites States Tennis Association (USTA) Pro Circuit Futures. It started Saturday and ends with championship matches on March 16. Players from throughout the United States, Europe and Asia are competing for $15,000 in prize money and other incentives, according to The Bakersfield Californian.

Tennis stars like Andy Roddick and Andy Murray began their professional careers at such tournaments.
